Bharat Ramamurti: Former Deputy Director, White House National Economic Council
Bharat Ramamurti served as Deputy Director of the White House National Economic Council and Advisor for Strategic Economic Communications in the Biden-Harris Administration from 2021 through 2023. In that role, he helped develop and negotiate portions of the American Rescue Plan and the bipartisan infrastructure law, and helped lead the Administration’s efforts on competition and tech policy, small businesses, student loan debt, housing, and financial regulation. He previously was appointed by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer as a commissioner on the Congressional Oversight Commission for the CARES Act, and served as Senator Elizabeth Warren’s top economic advisor from 2013 through 2020.
