Evan Smith

Evan Smith is the co-founder and CEO of unicorn company, Altana. Altana is a value chain management system, built on the world’s largest supply chain data network. Through Altana, organizations across the public and private sectors are taking command of global value chain networks to build a more resilient, secure, and sustainable globalization. Altana is backed by Google Ventures, US Innovative Technology Fund (USIT), Salesforce Ventures, Activate Capital, Friends and Family Capital, Floating Point, March Capital, and OMERS Ventures. USIT led a $200 million Series C fundraising round in 2024, at a valuation of $1 billion.

Prior to Altana, Smith has been a founder, investor, and leader in several supply chain, clean technology, and data businesses. Smith holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Yale University.
