
Abe Goldschmidt
Abe Goldschmidt is the senior director of Oracle Global corporate strategy. As an entrusted and results-driven leader, Goldschmidt is responsible for all healthcare policy efforts worldwide and works as the lead on all interactions in the government sector. Goldschmidt has extensive experience serving in the highest levels of the US Government.
After serving as deputy director of presidential appointments for the 2016 Republican presidential transition, Goldschmidt served in the West Wing of the White House as a special assistant to the President, responsible for a portfolio including public/private partnerships, healthcare, and criminal justice reform. Goldschmidt was then appointed to the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) as managing director and senior advisor, responsible for the day-to-day control of OPIC’s Middle East initiative in support of the historic Abraham Accords peace treaties in the region.
A lawyer by training, Goldschmidt began his career as a prosecutor in Miami, Florida, ultimately serving in the Special Prosecutions Economic Crimes unit. In that role, he investigated and prosecuted complex money laundering, racketeering, and financial fraud cases, trying over a dozen jury trials to verdict. Previously, Goldschmidt served under the leadership of Secretary Michael Chertoff at the US Department of Homeland Security.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Goldschmidt earned his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law with a certificate in National Security and Counterterrorism Law and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. In 2010, Goldschmidt was awarded the Charles H. Revson Public Interest Fellowship and earned his J.D. in 2012. Goldschmidt earned his bachelor’s degree in public affairs from the City University of New York in 2007. Goldschmidt is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia, Florida, and New York.
